The Polish online market Allegro announced that in 2024 it generated sales of EUR 2.6 billion. The gross volume of the Company’s goods (GMV) increased by 10 pierients to 15.3 billion euros.
Allegro is an online market from Poland, which was launched in 1999. The sale also grew at international level. Last year it was launched in Slovakia. A year earlier it was also launched in the Czech Republic. Eventually Allegro wants to become a dominant electronic trading player in Europe.
Estated EBITDA over 718 million euros
In 2023, the company generated almost EUR 1.8 billion in Poland only. Now the company has published its financial results for 2024.
Compared to 2023, the Allegro Esta -modified EBITDA increased by 18% last year
Last year, EBITDA reached 718.8 million euros (3 billion Polish złoty) on the market. This was the inclusion of 18 piernt compared to the previous year.
Double gmv
In 2022, Allegro achieved a GMV milestone of EUR 10 billion. And last year it hit 15.3 billion euros. With the exception of Amazon and Russian markets, Allegro and Zalando are the only European online retailers with a two -digit billion GMV.
View of 2025
The company has also announced its expectations for 2025. GMV is expected to be € 16.7 billion and returned EUR 2.85 billion. It wants to accelerate its international growth in the second half of this year and at the same time increase its advertising revenue.
